After the recent release of the new Monopoly Go album, Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes, it quickly attracted many new players thanks to Looney Tunes' existing popularity and nostalgic elements.
However, the player community has recently been divided on the new gameplay brought by this collaboration. Some players love the farm theme and the new Porky's Cafe, while many others feel that this album hasn't lived up to the success of previous collaborations.
The underlying reason is that those who are pessimistic feel that the experience created by the limited ingredients, recipes, rewards, and material acquisition methods in Porky's Cafe is poor.

Of course, some players were satisfied, especially those not particularly interested in other IPs, and some loved the nostalgic atmosphere, finding the farm theme adorable.
So the fundamental problem isn't with the album or the gameplay itself.
Porky's Cafe
Of all the collaboration events so far, Porky's Cafe is the most popular.
Its gameplay is simple: you just need to collect a complete set of Monopoly Go Stickers for Cafe Ingredients to unlock Porky's Cafe. Then, you can use the collected Ingredient Stickers to exchange for corresponding ingredients to cook food and earn extra rewards, including tons of Dice, sticker packs, and other decorations.
From a design perspective, this mechanism adds a second used to duplicate stickers besides player trading, and also introduces an additional progression system beyond Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes Album.
Some players have reported obtaining hundreds or even thousands of Monopoly Go Dice through Porky's Cafe, while others have acquired high-value rewards like Wild Stickers.
From this perspective, Porky's Cafe cannot actually be considered a failed gameplay element; in fact, it can be seen as highly innovative and original.
The main problem lies in the entire Ingredient system.

Recipe Completion Difficulty
The biggest problem surrounding Porky's Cafe is that many players complain about not being able to obtain Ingredient Stickers and Recipes they want.
This means that you may have many duplicate Ingredient Stickers that you don't need, but you simply can't obtain the key Ingredient required to complete a particular Recipe.
Currently, there are three main ways to obtain Ingredient Stickers in Monopoly Go:
1. Ingredient Packs
Participate in in-game events that explicitly list Ingredient Packs as rewards, such as daily tournaments, limited-time events, and Quick Wins.
2. Ingredient Swap Packs
When you receive an Ingredient Swap Pack from an event or special delivery, the system allows you to randomly refresh some of Ingredient Stickers inside the pack before officially claiming it.
This greatly reduces the probability of drawing duplicate ingredients, allowing you to accurately obtain the specific recipes you are missing.
3. Special Deliveries
At certain points in Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes Album, Porky Pig will directly distribute Special Deliveries to all players via in-game mail, which will contain free Ingredient Packs and Swap Packs.
Finally, you can trade face-to-face through the friend system.
The difficulty in obtaining Ingredient Stickers has led many to question the same thing: if in-game events like Daily Quick Wins don't consistently provide Ingredient Packs, how are we supposed to complete Cafe Recipes? Trade?
In fact, trading plays a negligible role in Porky's Cafe.
Many players have started prioritizing Ingredient Stickers when trading, while others choose to save their trading opportunities because they believe certain ingredients will become increasingly valuable as Monopoly Go Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes Album progresses.
This creates a strange resource economy phenomenon: a duplicate sticker that was initially almost worthless can suddenly become incredibly valuable if someone else desperately needs it.
Therefore, the main problem isn't so much with the trading mechanism itself, but rather with the system's resource supply.
Reward Fluctuations
Secondly, Porky's Cafe's reward system also feels very unstable. Many players have shared their rewards, and comparisons have revealed significant discrepancies between the two.
This kind of phenomenon is most likely to cause controversy, as the saying goes, "It's not the scarcity that's the problem, but the unfairness."
One player spent a lot of materials to complete the recipe but only received 1,000 Dice, while another player received a large amount of Dice in their first loot box. This comparison clearly shows that Porky's Cafe's reward system has problems.
This also explains why there is such polarized opinion in the community regarding Porky's Cafe and Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes Album.
Problems & Solutions
In my opinion, the criticism of Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes Album in the community is not due to problems with the album's mechanics or system, but rather to the historical roots of this issue within Monopoly Go itself.
Based on the main problems identified so far, Scopely could actually take some targeted improvements to address them.
1. More Stable Ingredient Sticker Acquisition Channels
For example, adding daily Ingredient Packs, improving the stable acquisition rate of Quick Wins, or providing more reliable Porky Swap Packs would make players feel like they are continuously progressing, rather than waiting for RNG to be generous every day.
2. Reward System Linked to Ingredient Rarity
If a recipe only requires a few common duplicate stickers, then the reward can actually be lower; but if a recipe requires multiple rare ingredients, and players might spend several days collecting them, then the reward should be significantly increased.
In short, Monopoly Go Porky's Cafe is indeed a fun gameplay element, and it just needs some adjustments and improvements.
