As we all know, in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of WoW, Blizzard opened the classic realm, where you can experience the challenges of the original WoW from the beginning. WoW has entered the phase 2 since January 9.
The next exciting news is that phase 3 update of WoW has released on March 20. After phase 3 update is released, you, as a new player, can look forward to Blackwing Lair and level 50 professional quests.
Blackwing Lair
Undoubtedly, the most anticipated of this update is Blackwing Lair. Nefarian, the eldest son of Deathwing, controls this fortress located on Blackrock Mountain.
Once you enter the dungeon, you will challenge the 8 bosses in the dungeon with your team, which is composed of 40 heroes. During the challenge, you have the opportunity to obtain a large amount of WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold. And items such as the iconic level 2 set, Elementium Ore required to create Thunderfury, and Head of Nefarian and Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.
What a rich reward. I guess you can’t wait to start the game.
Rewards
In more exciting news, Phase 3 also brings many new reputation rewards provided by Classic factions. These include Argent Dawn, Timbermaw Hold, Thorium Brotherhood, and Warsong Outriders associated with Warsong Gulch and Silverwing Sentinels.
In addition, you will get exclusive quest lines for each playable profession when it reaches level 50, and obtain powerful rare items.
Finally, Darkmoon Faire will be officially released in World of Warcraft Classic Fresh. It will open shops regularly in Mulgore and Elwynn Forest, and issue quests, provide buffs and give out special rewards.
There is also good news about PVP changes that will be made on April 3. The honor cap at level 11 will be removed and the honor cap for characters will be raised to level 14. This is good news for players, as you have the opportunity to get level 14 titles and rewards.
In addition, WoW offers fans a new way to get rewards and honor: the opening of the 15 vs 15 Arathi Basin Battleground on April 4. And, every weekend from Thursday to Monday, a battleground map will be unlocked, giving you the opportunity to earn additional rewards through challenges.
In 2025, Phase 4 will arrive in the summer, Phase 5 in the fall, and Phase 6 in the winter at the latest. At this rate, it is expected that WoW Classic 20th Anniversary realm will enter Burning Crusade at the latest in early 2026.
