Diablo 4 Season 9 Patch 2.3.1 Brings Changes To Build Tier Lists

Diablo 4 Season 9 has received a lot of positive reviews from players since its release, but there are also some minor issues. So the developer recently released the 2.3.1 patch to address these complaints, but surprisingly, it made some changes to the tier lists of some builds in the game.

Before its release, the developers had leaked a lot of information about this patch, so we can have a more comprehensive understanding of it in a short period after the patch is released.

Diablo 4 Season 9 Patch 2.3.1 Brings Changes To Build Tier Lists

In this article, we will introduce you to the changes related to builds tier lists. From S to D, it is from best to worst. Here are its adjustment details.

Endgame & The Pit

After carefully examining all categories, We will find that it has been slightly adjusted. We can make some changes in Endgame’s tierlists and Pit Pushing because some builds are performing better than expected.

In S Tier, Fleshrender Druid’s level is increasing, because its defense and attack power have increased to a certain extent.

In A Tier, five builds are increasing, they are Shred Druid, Earth Spike Druid, Flay Barb, Boulder Druid, and Landslide Druid. Only one Minion Necro is decreasing.

In B Tier, there are three increasing builds: Barrage Rogue, Invigorating Strike Rogue, Heartseeker Rogue and two decreasing builds, Bone Spear Necro, and Blight Necro.

In C Tier, Dance of Knives Rogue’s level is increasing, and D Tier remains unchanged.

As the season progresses, the performance of some builds has fluctuated a bit, at least not as stable as before. But in general, their tiers haven’t changed much. We should be cautious about this.

In addition, the performance of Druid class has improved significantly, especially with Polarize skill and Fleshrender Items, and it has become one of the top classes in S tier. Pulverize has many serious bugs, but other buffs that were brought to Druid at the beginning of the season seem to have achieved very good results and promoted the overall strength.

In addition, some Rogue builds have also been improved. For example, Heartseeker Rogue and Invigorating Strike Rogue. In particular, the effect of its basic attack equipment has greatly exceeded expectations.

The same is true for Barbarian. After having some A-level equipment, we’d better fix some skills, which are focus attack, which can greatly improve Barbarian’s overall strength.

Among them, the adjustment of Necromancer is also worth mentioning. Because players had very confident in it at the beginning and moved it to A tier. At present, although its operation is very easy to use, and it is also the best equipment at present, it still has some minor shortcomings.

All in all, these are the general positions of most current builds. Aside from some Spiritborn builds, the classes are well balanced.

Speed Farming

In addition to Endgame builds, which have some changes in Diablo 4 S9, there are also builds that allow you to level up faster. Compared to the former, the latter is basically unchanged. However, some Spiritborn builds have been nerfed, such as Balazan Rake Spiritborn and Balazan Quill Spiritborn.

In S Tier, the levels of Lunging Strike Barb and Penetrating Shot Rogue have increased, and there are no builds with reduced levels, which all can allow you to level up quickly and accumulate Diablo 4 Gold.

In short, we have a lot of builds that can level up quickly. Therefore, you can arbitrarily choose skills that focus on crowd control or crowd damage in your build, and they can all bring you a lot of benefits.

Bossing

In fact, most of these builds will eventually reach the point where they can almost kill with one hit, basically. So it is difficult to rank these builds by damage, so we can rank them according to how difficult it is to kill with one hit.

In this Bossing tier list, there are only four builds that have been nerfed in total, and C Tier accounts for half of them, namely Bone Spear Necro and Blight Necro. The other two are Bone Spirit Necro from B Tier and Blood Lance Necro from D Tier.

The above are some changes in builds with the release of Diablo 4 Patch 2.3.1. In short, if you want to have a better gaming experience, you can try different builds according to your exploration needs.
