You can experience World Baseball Classic by entering Mini Seasons from Diamond Dynasty mode; it's not yet a standalone mode. However, unlike before, you can customize the length of Mini Seasons - one of the key changes in Diamond Dynasty, greatly enhancing player customization.
You can choose to play a quick three-inning match or a nine-inning tournament. The nine-inning tournament offers a longer gaming experience. Of course, if you want to quickly complete World Baseball Classic events to earn rewards like MLB The Show 26 stubs, choosing three innings is sufficient.
You'll need to advance to the knockout stage through four group stage matches, then progress to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finally lift the trophy. However, you'll need to use your own Diamond Dynasty team, replacing any of the 20 participating teams.
