New news from ARC Raiders: the latest Expedition, offering the chance to reset your character, is coming soon! This is great news for players who previously mis-configured their skill trees or want to experiment with different playstyles.
However, it must be said that there are so many things to be aware of and strategies to employ in Expedition, and every player in the community has their own approach. Therefore, this guide summarizes their opinions and suggestions.
This includes the release date, operating principle, and rewards of this Expedition in ARC Raiders.
Release Date
This latest Expedition is currently in its window and is expected to officially launch on April 29th. During this period, you can submit the necessary materials for this Expedition and prepare to begin your reset journey.
Operating Mechanism
Similar to previous Expeditions, you need to complete five stages of material collection and submission between March 2nd and April 28th to complete the registration process. Once completed, you can start this Expedition on April 29th by selecting "Departure." This will reset your Stash Upgrade Progress, Inventory Items, Blueprints, and ARC Raiders Coins.
However, all unlocked maps, workshop stations, your codex entries, Raider Tokens, Cred, Raider Decks progress, Active Leaderboards, trials, every cosmetic item, personal event progress, and the bonus Skill Points and Stash Slots will be retained. Trophy Display Project will also continue uninterrupted.
Rewards
Once you embark on Expedition, your reset character will receive certain rewards and buffs that will be crucial to your restarted exploration.
For example, additional Skill Points, the exact number depending on the total amount of items and coins in your inventory before Expedition: 1 Skill Point for every 1 million Coins, up to a maximum of 5; and 1 Skill Point for every 600,000 Coins in total inventory value.
In addition, there's the evolved Patchwork Raider outfit, featuring four switching modes and two color schemes, Scrappy cosmetic, an Expeditions Indicator icon, and 12 permanently unlocked stash spaces.
Similarly, this Expedition will still introduce a catch-up mechanism: if you previously participated in an Expedition but didn't claim all the extra skill points, you can acquire the remaining skill points at a price of 600,000 Coins.
Besides these substantial rewards, this Expedition will also provide some buffs to all reset characters: a 60% increase in repair value (up to 70%); a 5% increase in experience points (up to 10%); and a 6% increase in extra materials recovered from Scrappy (up to 12%).
After completing an Expedition, you'll receive a permanent unlock and temporary buffs, a small star icon will appear above your character's head, and your Expedition count will be recorded.
The rewards earned in this Expedition will carry over to your next Expedition. Consecutive Expeditions will stack your buffs; however, all buffs will disappear if you choose not to participate.
