But eventually, she places Soulstone on Akarat’s body and clears the bond with Mephisto with your encouragement and help. Thus, Neyrelle’s redemption is achieved.
Throughout Vessel of Hatred, Eru’s assistance to the player propels the story forward, but his desire to protect Nahantu at all costs ultimately leads to his betrayal. He witnesses corruption that spread throughout Nahantu. In a bargain with Lord of Hatred, Mephisto, his desire to save Nahantu causes him to lose the orientation throughout the quest. After flipping through various scrolls and books, they get information about Tyrael, the defender of Sanctuary, and Rathma’s Prophecy, which depicts the rise of Prime Evils, and Sanctuary will lead to destruction. This also hints at the possibility of Tyrael’s return in the later storyline.
Afterwards, a conversation with Prava will unfold, in which she states that Neyrelle is an important role in destroying Mephisto.
Akarat Becomes The New Vessel For Mephisto
Vessel of Hatred is concluded through a sequence that narrated by Lorath. Once the series of flashbacks ends, the scene switches to Travincal, where lies Akarat’s mortal. He is placed in a large room and surrounded by the black corruption of Mephisto. We can see that Mephisto tensed Akarat, making fun of his failure to be Shepherd of Light he was expected to be.
Then the corruption begins to consume Akarat’s body, and Mephisto’s Soulstone is buried deep in his chest, waiting for his body to be completely consumed by darkness. Afterwards, Akarat’s body floats into the air and transforms into the new vessel for Mephisto.
