Diablo IV Season 8’s Hotfix Adjusts Reputation Rewards And Changing The Player’s Gaming Experience

In order to reduce the burden on players and speed up the game’s progress, Diablo 4 made some adjustments to Reputation gains through hot fixes in Season 8. For example, Reputation rewards for multiple activities such as Blood Maiden and Lair Boss have been improved, which effectively solves players’ concerns and problems encountered when farming monsters.

After the release of Diablo 4 Season 8 on April 29, players experienced the game, but the feedback after playing was different.

Some players think that the rare items dropped by farming monsters in the early stage of Season 8 are less than in the previous season, and a considerable number of players do not like to reach the final chapter of the game by repeatedly fighting monsters, which makes players dissatisfied with Diablo 4 Season 8.

Fortunately, the publisher of Diablo 4 did not ignore these negative reviews, but took quick action to correct these problems.

Adjustments In The Hotfix

In the recent hot update patch, Diablo 4 has significantly increased Reputation that can be obtained by defeating each boss in Diablo 4’s World.

The more significant changes are that Reputation obtained by defeating Diablo 4’s World bosses has increased from 250 points to 2000 points, and Reputation obtained by defeating Lair bosses has increased from 750 to 1000. In addition, compared with the previous 1000 Reputation obtained by defeating Belial and Lord of Lies, it is now 1500 Reputation.

In addition, Reputation obtained by killing Blood Maidens has also increased significantly, from 250 to 1000. Reputation provided by other ordinary bosses each time they are defeated has also increased from 250 to 750.

This change prevents players from repeatedly performing repetitive tasks to increase the season’s reputation, thus reducing the time players spend obtaining Reputation and allowing them more time to experience other content in Diablo 4 Season 8.

At the same time, in a series of hot fixes, to make it easier for players to defeat the boss, Diablo 4 chose to reduce the health of Apparition Incursion Bosses, making it easier for players to pass the level.

Diablo 4 quickly resolved the initial mixed player reviews of Season 8, thereby increasing player willingness to experience D4 Gold.

After Season 8, Diablo 4 should have a lot of content worth looking forward to. There is even news that Diablo 4 may be on Nintendo Switch 2. If successful, it will definitely be a very interesting thing.

Although there are many contents in Season 8 that make players dissatisfied, we can still look forward to what adjustments Diablo 4 will make in the next few weeks to solve the various problems that arise in Season 8.
