Diablo 4 Season 8 introduces new game mechanics, systems, and equipment, and updates and upgrades existing systems, such as the balance of Torment difficulty and the introduction of new bosses. Compared with previous seasons, boss battles are expected to take longer and require stronger situational awareness, which requires players to have a Paragon Level of at least 200.
So, how can you improve your Paragon Board Level the fastest? In fact, this method is not unfamiliar to all players. In essence, it is to continuously accumulate experience and upgrade monsters. Especially after you unlock all the content, XP farming speed is faster at the highest difficulty level Torment 4. Of course, this is the ideal state we envision.
In fact, when facing the highest difficulty level Torment 4 in Diablo 4 Season 8, it is not so simple to get Paragon Point XP, and players need to adjust to it. Higher difficulty levels are challenging, but the loot you get in them is very worthwhile. At the same time, you will also get the highest amount of XP in Torment 4, and not only that, you will also get the highest amount of Diablo 4 Gold for killing monsters.
The Season 8 update has made Spiritborn build a little stronger than the Season 7. But this enhancement is not designed purely for speed farming and solo farming. The enhancements to Spiritborn build will also help you better enter higher levels.
Where To Get More Experience Points?
Artificer’s Pit
Once you reach a certain level, it is the best choice to get XP in The Pit. This method of farming is better than other methods because as The Pit upgrades and becomes more powerful, you will get more XP.
Artificer’s Pit is an end-game activity in Diablo 4, similar to Greater Rifts in Diablo 3. It is a challenging dungeon where players need to defeat as many enemies as possible within a 15-minute time limit to summon the final boss. After successfully completing the activity, players can get Glyph upgrades, win Diablo 4 Gold rewards, and unlock higher-level challenges.
If we start from the highest level Artificer’s Pit, it will take about four minutes to complete a level 55 Pit. At the same time, it will probably be able to get about 7 million to 12 million Paragon Point XP.
Compared to Pit, other similar activities always give the same amount of experience. In such activities, the only thing you can do is to go through them quickly. So, this activity can help you reach new levels faster and gain more experience than other activities.
In fact, your wishes will never be satisfied. After you get some experience, you will definitely want more. Therefore, the double experience you get in the Pit at this time can also upgrade your Glyphs, which is also a big deal for your level increase and gaining power.
Infernal Hordes
Infernal Hordes is the second highest activity for Paragon Point XP in this season. In this activity, most of the XP comes from every kill you make. Especially when playing Hellborn and Elites, the 10-wave Infernal Hordes allows you to accumulate more buff synergies between waves, which means less time spent on bosses, so overall it’s a good second choice for experience.
Apparition Incursion
Apparition Incursion is a bit dated compared to the above two activities. Apparition Incursion is a fast-paced boss rush event in Diablo 4 Season 8. Players must clear waves of Apparition creatures, bosses, and Belial to get higher-level rewards and the new mechanic of Season 8 - Boss Powers.
After several tests, XP gained from this activity is about 35% of the experience gained from the level 55 Pit in the same configuration. Of course, Spectral Ash is also spawned at this time, but if players want to get Spectral Ash, they can get more by defeating Lair Bosses in Torment 4. So in my opinion, once you get into Torment 4 and defeat each invasion boss once to unlock their powers, this activity becomes quite dated.
Kurast Undercity
Kurast Undercity is the same build and configuration used in Torment 4 to gain XP, and I’ve tested it to give about 608,000 XP per minute on average. With Tribute of Growth, it can go even higher. That’s a pretty good score, obviously. It’s even as good as Infernal Hordes in some ways, but it’s still not as good as running around in Pit.
Nightmare Dungeons
Finally, we have Nightmare Dungeons. Each of these Nightmare Dungeons has its own unique experience, but I don’t think anyone would want to go to a poorly laid out, low-density dungeon.
Overall, the experience varies a lot, because your experience is pretty much confined to one place, so you can’t run every dungeon. But you still go to what is arguably the best farm in Obdesite, and you get quite a bit of gear when you complete Nightmare Dungeons, so there’s a reason to do it, but I just don’t think the experience is very good.
Are There Any Other Items That Affect Paragon Point XP Gain?
Besides specific activities, there are other items that can affect experience points. For example, Elixirs, Incense, and Season Blessing. Second-level Elixirs increase the amount of experience points more than first-level Elixirs.
As for Incense, you can get experience points by activating at least one Incense.
The last way is Season Blessings, which need to be obtained with a currency called Smoldering Ashes. Season Blessings provide powerful progress bonuses to help you level up Battle Pass and characters. Smoldering Ashes can increase the experience points of monsters, but this function gradually disappeared in Season 8.
Summary
In Diablo 4 Season 8, almost all activities and items for obtaining Paragon XP are listed.
In fact, there are roughly two types. One is to run experience in activities, complete tasks, and finally gain experience. For example, The Pit. The second is to complete the endgame, such as Infernal Hordes and Apparition Incursion.
In short, if you want to get Paragon XP quickly, The Pit will be a good choice. Because once you reach Torment 1, everything will be easy.
Finally, this article only represents my humble opinion, I hope you will recognize and like it. I also wish all players a merry game.
